Dr. Matthew Fretwell is married, has three beautiful daughters and serves as a revitalization pastor at Oak Hall Baptist, near Richmond, Virginia.

Dr. Fretwell holds an MA in Theology, MDiv in Professional Ministry from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and a DMin in Great Commission Reproducible Disciple-Making from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Fretwell founded  Job 31 Ministries, a non-profit men’s discipleship ministry. In addition, he and a fellow a co-host interview well-known evangelical leaders on the discipleship podcast, The Wretched & The Wrecked.

Dr. Fretwell also has a passion for global missions and reaching the lost and is an advocate board member of Living Bread Ministries (LBM), a global comprehensive Church Planting organization that helps the poorest of the poor. LBM reaches the slums of the world and helps people break the chains of poverty.

As the Executive Director for New Breed Church Planting Network, Dr. Fretwell helps develop content, leadership structure leadership, and promote healthy multiplicative disciple-making reproducibility.
